Intensive French Courses for Adults

                                                                                        

Prepare for TEF or TCF exams, DELF* and DALF* or the Second Language Evaluation (SLE) of the Public Service Commission of Canada.
​Learners prepare to obtain their level A, B, or C qualifications on these evaluations. All instructors are certified DELF and DALF exam correctors with years of experience in preparing language learners for the Second Language Evaluation (SLE) of the Public Service Commission of Canada.
*The DELF and DALF diplomas are awarded by the French Ministry of Education to prove the French-language skills of non-French candidates.

What is the Class Size:

 When registering at Expressive Language Center, you can choose from the following class sizes:
Private classes: 1 learner
Small Groups:  2 to 4 learners
Large Groups: 5 to 8 learners

What level courses are offered?

Beginner : A1.1 (absolute beginner), A1.2 , A1.3
                    A2.1, A2.2, A2.3, A2.4, 
Intermediate: B1.1, B1.2, B1.3, B1.4
​                          B2.1, B2.2, B2.3, B2.4
Advanced : C1.1, C1.2, C1.3, C1.4
                     C2.1, C2.2, C2.3, C2.4

How much is the tuition?

Individual Lessons: $1080 per semester 
Small Group Lessons: $720 per semester

What are the class schedules?

- Once or mutliple times a week based on student's choice

How long is each semester?

Each semester is 18 hours.

How long is each Class?

- 90 minutes for private classes and small groups
- 2 hours for groups of 4 to 8 (these groups have different a tuition and schedule)

What type of credit is awarded at the end of each course?

- Course certificate (at the learner’s level)
- A report card describing details of learner’s French language skills

how much does the learning material cost?

There is no cost for the learning materials.
